Well, we had some challenges during the 2025 growing season. We had a cool, very rainy spring that caused delays or outright death to many plants. Then came the summer with some high heat and very little rain. Even though we have a terrific water system, it wasn’t enough to combat Mother Nature. The result was lower crop yields in many gardens. Therefore, our donations were less than in previous years, but we’re happy to report that almost 800 pounds of organic produce was donated by our gardeners this year! We are happy that the Mental Health Association in Beaver County utilizes the garden produce that we donate to the organization – and if they can’t use something, they find another group that can.
