I was honored to give a honey bee presentation with Zachary and Christian Shaffer today at the Freedom Middle School. Around 110 6th graders, and 20 high-schoolers in attendance. Thank you Mrs Ping and the Freedom Middle School for the opportunity. And thank you to Jenny Dambach Fessler for making the connection! We did bring live bees and the kids got the opportunity to find the queen and ask questions.
